Del Sur is a master planned community in San Diego, California that was inspired by a commitment to conservation and the city’s historic architectural designs.

Del Sur is comprised of several neighborhoods with new construction also in the works. Every subdivision offers native landscaping, mature trees, parks, and walking paths. This community draws upon historic neighborhoods like Mission Hills, Rancho Santa Fe, and Coronado. And there are a thousand acres of natural space for enjoying nature.

The Avondale neighborhood features 63 estate style homes with three floor plans. There are four to five bedrooms, bonus rooms, and living space that ranges from 3,883 to 4,977 square feet. The Estates neighborhood features Italian, Tuscan, and Spanish designs. There are four to six bedrooms, four car garages, and 4,396 to 6,901 square feet. Other neighborhoods include Garretson, Kingston, Preston, and Stratford.

The Poway Unified School District offers highly ranked facilities like Del Sur Elementary School, Oak Valley Middle School, and Del Norte High School. There are hundreds of private institutions like the Calvary Christian Academy, Escondido Adventists Academy, the Montessori American School, and Halstrom Academy. Public universities include the University of California (UCSD) and San Diego State University (SDSU) as well as the San Diego Community College District.

The Black Mountain Open Space Park is to the south and offers over 2,000 acres of biking and hiking trails. Visitors enjoy the panoramic views of the city from the mountain peak. To the north you’ll find Lake Hodges which offers many recreational opportunities like bicycling and kayaking as well as horseback riding on the 55-mile trail that runs from coast to crest. There are several golfing venues like the Crosby Club, the Santaluz Club, and the Rancho Santa Fe Farms Golf Club.
